E-mail Account Settings- Brocks Maps We have been having BIG PROBLEMS with Yahoo account holders lately. Because of Yahoo's security, they won’t let ANY e-mails through with attachments (maps arrive as attachments.) It ALL gets sent to the "Bulk" mail folder. |

Update April 2007. Yahoo has apparently labeled Brock's Performance as a "spammer" and will usually NOT allow ANY maps to arrive to yahoo accounts. There is nothing we can do about this as all of our requests and attempts to disprove this theory has been for nothing...they will not let us through. We recommend that you open a hotmail account (http://login.live.com/login.srf?id=2&svc=mail&cbid=24325&msppjph=1&tw=900&fs=1&lc=1033&_lang=EN ) ….It’s free and we have no problems with maps getting through. Unfortunately, the best way to assure your info. is properly entered in our system is to re-submit a map request form with your new address. Very sorry for the trouble…please feel free to contact Yahoo to voice your displeasure! Brock |

| We suggest the following
settings:
Log into your yahoo account.
Mark Spam + Not Spam
When I mark a message in the Bulk folder as Not Spam:
Image Blocking
Click Save changes at the top of the screen. Next, go to your "Bulk" mail to find our maps arriving from mapsupport@brockracing.com Click on the message checkbox and select 'NOT SPAM'. You can then move my e-mails to your inbox (or they will move automatically to your inbox), or create a new folder (name it "Brock Maps" or whatever) and move them into this folder so you can store them forever. This will also allow our map e-mail address through in the future. Note: If you have hundreds of Bulk mails, then empty the Bulk mail folder completely and send an e-mail to mapsupport@brockracing.com requesting the maps to be sent again (or fill out another map support request.) This could make them MUCH easier to find! Sorry for the hassle, but it’s beyond our control - due to Yahoo's security! The only thing we hate worse than spam, is not having the maps to make our bikes FLY! Good Luck, Brock P.S. For some reason, sometimes it seems to take a long time (hours?) to receive our maps through Yahoo. Please be patient! |
