Jim Owen's motorcycle is a street legal and regularly ridden 2000 Kawasaki ZX-12R,
specially modified by Jim Owen to create additional power by injecting a monstrous
dose of nitrous oxide.
These new records were set during Bonneville Speed Trials Competition at the
Utah Salt Flats Racing Associations annual World of Speed. World of Speed is
one of the premier Speed Events at Bonneville and this year, hosted over 100
