Woska leads Super Sport points after
Richmond runner-up and Memphis win

Brock’s Performance Products AMA/Prostar Super Sport competitor Vince
Woska extended his point lead to 112 after a commanding weekend which included
a trip to the Memphis Motorsports Park winner’s circle at the Schnitz
Memphis Blues Nationals, June 10th-11th.

“Vince’s technique as a rider is nearly flawless. He has perfected
it,” team manager Brock Davidson said. “As a rider he gets down
the track as consistently and as quickly as possible.”
Woska rebounded from a final round holeshot loss on Friday night in the resumption
of the rain-postponed Lucas Oil Spring Nationals from early May.

“The no-wheelie-bar classes are really difficult,” said Davidson,
who was the first man to put a street bike in the sevens. “You have to
be a Rickey Gadson, Keith Dennis, or Ryan Schnitz kind of rider to pull off
a good light and run a good ET when you need it. Good racers find a way to win
races when they shouldn’t. Rickey (Gadson) did it a few times for us last
year. Vince is getting close to that level, but it takes some time.”

The other highlight of the weekend for Brock’s Performance Products came
with the announcement that the Suzuki-backed Velocity Racing Team will utilize
Brock’s Performance Product’s Exhaust for the remainder of the season.

“When a factory supported team stops mid-season to put on your stuff,
it makes you very proud,” Davidson said. “I can’t even put
it into words.”
The frustrating letdown of the weekend for Team BPP came during the painstakingly
thorough technical inspection of Woska’s bike after the event. Davidson
says he always enjoys when his bikes are deemed legal after such a teardown,
but admits that going home with his bike in pieces is starting to wear on him.

“Tech was brutal. They tore us down like I have never seen before,”
said Davidson. “They pulled off the head, pulled the valves out, and confiscated
our camshafts. Then they split the engine cases, removed the water pump, counted
the number of teeth on the transmission gears and made sure our harmonic balancer
was still in place. As usual we passed with flying colors, but we have a lot
of time in putting this back together. Most shops would charge a customer $1,500
for a job like this.”
Davidson says that’s not the only disadvantage
to an extensive teardown.
“We can’t test,” Davidson said. “We still don’t
have the cams and the Woskas live 10 hours away. Also, I have to stop my business
to put the motor back together.”
Nonetheless the team will be ready for round No. 5 of the series July 15-16
at Norwalk Raceway Park in Norwalk, OH.
Vince Woska would like to thank Brock Davidson of Brock's Performance
Products. “None of this would be possible without his support,
time, effort, and friendship,” Woska said.
“Thanks to Lang and Lee Hindle of Hindle
Performance Exhaust,” Woska said. “Lang and Lee Hindle have been
working with Brock’s Performance to produce the fastest exhaust systems
for Sportbikes on the planet and we have been fortunate enough to have been
given the opportunity to prove it on the track. Thank you for your support and
a great product.
Thanks to Dean Shields of American Made Cycles, in Dayton Ohio for letting us
tie up his shop for 3 days a month during the race season.”
Special Thanks to Dave Owen "Dave-O" for all his support and expertise
