Brock Davidson of Brock’s Performance Products welcomes three new sponsors, NUTEC Racing Fuel, Millennium Technologies, and Alisyn Oils, to his Suzuki-backed racing operation.

“We’re very pleased to have these three outstanding businesses on our side. We are now going to be supplying NUTEC racing fuel at all the Prostar races,” Davidson said. “This is something that wasn’t available for the first two events. A lot of guys wanted to run it, it just wasn’t there.”

Davidson will also continue his widely successful endeavor of providing trackside support by offering Suzuki parts at a discounted rate during the Next AMA/Prostar race in Richmond, VA, May 1st-2nd.
“We will again be vending the genuine OEM Suzuki parts at the race,” Davidson said. “It’s amazing how the racers are taking to this. For the second time we will be doubling our inventory. It’s really going well.”

The newly formed team is running into some of the typical learning curve issues one might expect, but is also progressing rapidly. The team showed improvement with a solid outing at the AMA/Prostar Elmer Trett Nationals from Atlanta, GA on April 2nd-3rd. Davidson expects the team to continue to progress with more laps.

“We just need more track time. It would probably have done me some good to ride a GSXR around the block before I show up at a national event,” laughed Davidson. “I’m a Hayabusa and Bandit man so I never really rode a GSXR 1000. They are amazingly powerful and have a short wheelbase. I’ve never rode anything like it. It’s like a 600 with nitrous in the throttle.”

Davidson suffered an uncharacteristic red-light in round-one of the new 1000 Super Sport category. “I was experimenting with different clutch set-ups and launch techniques and actually rolled out of the beams,” Davidson said.

Fresh off his victory at the season-opening race 600 Super Sport rider Vince Woska put together another respectable ride on his GSXR.

“Vince did an awesome job in Atlanta. He was just a tight race away from going to the final again,” Davidson said.

Team member Dustin Clark was defeated in round-one but is much more confident after making great strides on his program during the last two weeks.

“We’ve been out testing on Dustin’s bike and it’s amazing how far we’ve come in the last couple weeks. We’re looking to run consistent nines.”

Next up for Team Suzuki/Brock’s Performance Products will be the AMA/Prostar Lucas Oil Spring Nationals from Richmond, VA, May 1st-2nd.

“We’re looking forward to a great showing in Richmond,” Davidson said. “We’ve put a lot of time in during the last couple of weeks trying to figure out how to get these things down the track. It doesn’t matter how much power you have if you can’t get it applied to the track. We’re making progress very quickly. It took us two years to get Vince’s bike in the nines. It only took us two weeks to get Dustin’s 2004 GSXR600 in the nines.”

Davidson expressed gratitude towards his sponsors and thanked; American Suzuki Motor Corp., Ohlins shocks, World Wide Bearings, Bates, and introducing NUTEC Racing Fuels, Millennium Technologies, and Alisyn Oils.
