The Kawasaki ZX-14R ‘Brock Flash 2’ consists of:

The same great flash as the previous issue, but through further research and development by the Brock’s Performance engineering team, improvements have been made. Highlights include:

  1. New feature allows us to fix the dreaded 'stutter' associated with gearing changes on the ZX-14R. Simply enter your front and rear gearing (number of sprocket teeth) and the ECU will be configured to match your specific combo (stock ZX-14R gearing is 17/42).
  2. Allows Traction Control Mode to be adjusted/turned off ‘on the fly’.
  3. Drag Flash Only: Allows the last selected Traction Control Mode to be retained after the bike is shut off, thereby eliminating the need to remember to turn it off before your next pass.
  4. Street Flash Only: Allows the bike to default to Traction Control Mode 1 after key is turned off.
  5. Overrides the ‘Safety Mode’ with the flies installed. (Eliminates small peak power loss experienced from removal of the flies.)
  6. Allows throttle plates to fully open at 3200 RPM in High Power modes with flies installed. (Low Power modes operate normally.)
  7. Reduces “decel pop”. An additional internal mod was engineered to cut down on what small amount of decel pop remained after installing our PAIR cap.
  8. Eliminates Internal Fuel Cut for smoother open/shut throttle operation at higher RPMs.
  9. New modification to allow consistent selection of internal maps located in ECU. (See product details tab for more info)

Note: Upon flashing the ZX-14R (16-17) ECU, your instrument panel lights may be illuminated if the bike is operated on a dyno. This is only a 'cosmetic' issue; the bike will continue running correctly with no ill-effects on performance. Please go here for instructions on how to eliminate this issue. We are currently working on a 'User mode' error code reset feature.

Note: This flash will work with the Euro Spec. ECU with no ill effects on ABS function.

Re-flash consists of (most models):

  • Elimination of high speed (300 KPH/186 MPH) limiter
  • Increased high RPM limit
  • Disabled PAIR valve
  • Disabled O2 sensors
  • Removal of servo code flash warning (some models)
  • Modified ignition timing (some models)
  • No fuel table modifications
